Christmas Kisses

Hi, everyone! I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving and weekend. I'll show you my project for today first, and then if you have too much time on your hands, you can continue reading and looking at photos from our weekend.

Submitted:
Use Your Stuff - free week (the DT is off, but you can still link up whatever you are working on! Love this idea!)
Craft Your Passion - anything goes
Get Creative - Holidays
Pile It On - Red and Green
Glitter 'n Sparkle - include a bow
My Sheri Crafts - Christmas Spirit

Here's what happened at our house over the last few days....

Thursday - Thanksgiving - Kati came over and helped me cook a nice meal for just Tom, Bonnie, Kati & I. We made way too much food.

Friday - Bought some flooring for the new Master Bathroom, put up the Christmas Tree, and just relaxed.

Saturday - Got a call first thing in the morning that our daughter had hit a deer. The car may be totaled. No way to know that yet until they take a look at everything, but if the frame got damaged, it's probably totaled.  Then Tom, Bonnie & I headed over to his brother, Bill's, where we had another feast while watching the Carolina / Clemson game with all their kids and grandkids. We lost the football game, but it was still a great time.

Sunday - grocery shopping, yard cleanup and burned tons of fallen limbs and leaves in the backyard. Keri & Kevin came over. Kevin & Bonnie played in the dirt. Kevin (our 5 year old grandon) said he was going to dig a hole to China. He didn't quite make it that far though.  Later on we ate supper and watched a movie.

Thanks for stopping by today. See you tomorrow!!

  2. Wonderful Tree box Janis! Sorry to hear about your daughters car.... We've hit a deer before too... wasn't totaled though.... they fixed it right up... only for us to slide on some ice and land it a snow pile.... yikes! Glad I don't live in that area anymore though... don't worry about deer or snow around here now! :)
